Our Quality Management System in place since may 27 2000 complies with the ISO9001 Standard. Last april 25 our system was audited under the new ISO9001:2015 standard and we received our certification.

The ISO9001 is the most commonly used Quality Management System Standard. Our Quality Management System voluntarily complies with the requirements of:

Quality Management Principles of the ISO9001

ISO 9001: 2008 vs. 2015

The whole standard is reviewed about every seven years. The latest version has 10 clauses, the 2008 version had 8.

The first 3 chapters have similar content in both versions. From chapter 4 onwards the chapters are arranged according to the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check and Act) cycle.

These elements (PDVA) are also shared by the ISO14000 Environment, OHSAS Occupational Health and Safety and the ISO22000 Food Safety standards. This common structures facilitates their implementation.

A higher emphasis in the measuring and properly assessing the input and output of processes is placed by the 2015 version.

Risk Based Thinking is placed at the core of the ISO9001:2015 version. The risk analysis methodology must be implemented in order to adequately manage future risks and challenges.

The ISO9001:2015 includes in the interested parties concept groups like suppliers, personnel, shareholders, legislative bodies, society, internal customers, etc. in order to determine adequately product and service requirements.
